Hi there, I’m Burns

I've been in the Canadian justice and social services industry for more than 40 years and I've been doing records suspensions and pardons for almost a decade now.

I've seen that high costs applicants pay for confusing results and knew I could do better for canadians.

Bio

Born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario, my journey in the realm of criminal justice and rehabilitation began after I graduated from high school. Venturing to York University in Toronto, I pursued a major in psychology, delving into additional studies in social justice and Canadian law. In 1982, I proudly earned my Bachelor of Arts degree, setting the stage for a career dedicated to understanding and assisting individuals facing challenges post-criminal record.

Embarking on my professional path, I immersed myself in the complexities of adult offender rehabilitation within a provincial halfway house. This experience unveiled the formidable hurdles individuals face in employment and education after incurring a criminal record. Motivated by empathy and a commitment to social justice, I transitioned to a role as a probation and parole officer, dedicating 15 years to guiding individuals towards rehabilitation.

My career trajectory took me into the realms of addiction and teaching before drawing me back to my roots—directly aiding those seeking a Record Suspension (Pardon). Over the years, I've been a guiding force for individuals navigating the pardon process, firmly believing in the philosophy that "One Mistake Does Not A Character Make." In my view, anyone earnestly taking steps to rehabilitate themselves deserves the chance to cast off the burdens of a criminal record through a Record Suspension (Pardon). This personal philosophy continues to fuel my commitment to assisting individuals in their journey towards a second chance.
